0.7.4 and 0.7.5 had a bug we had promised could not happen: after a correction before Enter, the message might not be sent. It is fixed — along with several other things you reported.
Typing and corrections
- Enter is no longer lost after a correction. If the last word was typed in the wrong layout and you pressed Enter, the word was corrected but the Enter was dropped and the message stayed unsent. Enter now always reaches the window.
- Latin abbreviations are left alone. "B2B gjhnfk" came out as "И2И портал": while correcting a word, the app also took the unfamiliar word before it. Neighbouring words are now converted only if they become real words too, so "B2B", "CRM" or "MP3" stay as typed.
- Ctrl+Ins now protects a word from the layout switch too (Pro), not only from spell check. Type the word and, before pressing Space, press Ctrl+Ins — the app will leave it alone.
Suggestions
- New installs show 10 suggestions instead of 5: Russian words have many forms, and the one you wanted didn't fit. To change yours: NeuroSwitcher Pro → Settings → "Show advanced settings" → "Switching" → "Suggestions in overlay".
- The selected row is now white with black text, easy to spot.
Dictation and meetings
- The tray and the Console no longer disagree about the dictation model — it is one setting.
- Switching dictation to NeuroSwitcher Cloud takes effect at once, no restart.
- A calmer meetings list: one card per recording, status in colour, the main action — Transcribe or Open transcript — as its own button.
Console
- When the engine is stopped, the Console says so instead of showing "running" from stale data.
- Hotkeys are drawn as keyboard keys.
- The last English labels are translated, including the advanced settings page and the exclusion lists.
Updates
From this version on, the Console downloads the next update in the background and checks it. When it is ready it asks: "Version … is downloaded. Install it now?" — installing takes a few seconds and keeps your settings.
